My Approach

Case Study
These case studies are a peek into the kind of work I love, solving real problems with real people.
I’ve been lucky to work with dedicated professionals tackling big, sometimes messy challenges in business and society.
What you’ll see isn’t just shiny UI, but the thinking, learning, and figuring-things-out that happened along the way.

About
Hi, I’m Won, a digital product design lead with 11+ years of experience.
Originally from South Korea and now based in Germany, I’ve worked across Seoul, Osaka, Hamburg, Munich, and Berlin. My background in industrial design has shaped my approach as I’ve shifted toward digitalising complex systems, from logistics to healthcare, where physical and digital worlds converge to create real impact.
As a lead and collaborator, I value spaces where ideas are shared openly, challenged thoughtfully, and built together. Working across cultures over last 10 years has taught me to lead with empathy and adapt to diverse ways of thinking and working.
Outside of work, I find balance in clay and nature - whether I’m at the pottery wheel or out on a trail, I recharge by observing, making, and staying curious.

My Approach
I believe great products are built on strong systems and teams. By shaping culture and nurturing talent at the organizational level, we lay the foundation for product excellence, not as a single outcome, but as a way of working embedded in everyday practice. That’s why I dedicate around 10% of my time to organisational topics such as career path and education.
Every product goes through a natural growth cycle, starting with a broad vision rooted in user needs, trends, and market insight. From there, we shape ideas into early forms, testable, learnable, and small.
We build iteratively, guided by real-world feedback, and scale this small thing into mature product or system.

Creative Archive
In the early years of my career, I often dreamed and envisioned future possibilities by combining cutting-edge technologies with everyday user insights I observed around me. This space is a collection of those explorations - sometimes rough, occasionally naive, but always driven by curiosity and imagination. These early works may not reflect where I am now, but they remind me of where I started: experimenting freely, thinking playfully, and creating with heart. I still believe that sense of wonder is where great ideas begin. :)
